MODERN LIFE
Brian's second release (March 28, 19925), also recorded above The Costume Shop on Fullerton Ave., took the #2 spot for the entire YEAR in 1995 on Gavin and R&R's Contemporary Jazz National Radio Charts. With the hit singles "Midnight Sun" and "Come To Me" (the latter still getting significant airplay today), Modern Life solidified Brian as a core artist in the format.
This was the first time we see Steve Cole featured on one of Brian's records, a collaboration that turned into several of Steve's albums, co-writes and touring together for many years.
Brian also gives thanks to Gerald Albright who guested on this record and took the time to help out a new and developing artist. Gerald is featured on the song, "Take Me Home To You."
